Re-laid 315ft of track at the bottom of Cynfal Bank. (work also involved crowing rails, drilling sleepers and tamping). Cleaning point rodding run at Pendre. Lifting three low joints at Pendre. Sorting asbestos cement sheeting ready for disposal. Completion of concreting the West Carriage Shed floor. Litter pick in Wharf cutting. Start made on concentrating Heritage rail in one stack on Ty mawr. Retimbering and reconditioning the farthest run-round point at Nant Gwernol. Further overhanging branch clearance. Two bonfires at Cynfal. Bonfire of all the boscage on the Quarry Siding burn site. Concreting of a drainage chamber at Fach Goch. Fencing at Fach Goch. And that was just for starters! |
